FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State swim and dive team return to the pool, opening the spring season at Pepperdine with a sprint session on Friday night and a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool.Â

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State swim and dive team return to the pool, opening the spring season at Pepperdine with a sprint session on Friday night and a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool.Â
Bulldog Bones
- Fresno State returns to the pool for the first time in the New Year visiting Pepperdine in a two day meet
- Friday's session is a sprint meet and Saturday's session will feature the normal dual meet events
- Fresno State is 3-1 in dual meets this seasonÂ
- Two Bulldogs have earned MW of the Week honors - Mackenzie Miller Lung is a 2x receipt of the weekly award while diver Natalia Bedolla earned the honor once this season
- Bulldogs will honor eight seniors in the next meet for senior dayÂ
- Seven 'Dogs have swam all-time top times mid-way through the season - Hayley Oke, Ryley Clark, Franzi Djatej, Clare Luken, Jenna Pulkkinen, Mackenzie Miller Lung and Aliz KalamrÂ
- Mackenzie Miller Lung currently holds two individual program records - 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststrokeÂ
- Jenna Pulkkinen holds the program record in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.70
- The last time in the pool was early December for the Toyota U.S. Open where four select swimmers represented Fresno State, Aliz Kalmar, Mackenzie Miller Lung, Jenna Pulkkinen and Ryley ClarkÂ
- Fresno State finished the invite tied for 5th place with 73 points
- Kalmar qualified into the championship finals for all three breaststroke events scoring 42 pointsÂ
-  Pulkkinen made an appearance in the consolation finals of three events, totaling 18 points
- In her lone event of the 200 backstroke, Clark finished 11thÂ
- Miller Lung grabbed 28 points after a third place finish in the 50-meter breast
