Bulldogs open the new year in Malibu

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State swim and dive team return to the pool, opening the spring season at Pepperdine with a sprint session on Friday night and a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool.

Last time in the pool

The last time in the pool was early December for the Toyota U.S. Open where four select swimmers represented Fresno State, Aliz Kalmar, Mackenzie Miller Lung, Jenna Pulkkinen and Ryley Clark
Fresno State finished the invite tied for 5th place with 73 points
Kalmar qualified into the championship finals for all three breaststroke events scoring 42 points
Pulkkinen made an appearance in the consolation finals of three events, totaling 18 points
In her lone event of the 200 backstroke, Clark finished 11th
Miller Lung grabbed 28 points after a third place finish in the 50-meter breast
