BULLDOG BONES
- Head Coach Vance Walberg is in his second season at the helm of the Bulldog Basketball program and his fourth season as a head coach overall.
- The Bulldogs are coming off a 6-26 season going into 2025-26, with a total of two conference wins, against Air Force and Wyoming.
- Fresno State started the 2025-26 campaign with seven straight home games; all played at the Save Mart Center.
- This is the first time in program history that the Bulldogs have a seven-game home stand to start the season.
- The Fresno State men's basketball team looks a little different this season, with 73% of the roster being newcomers to the squad.
- Fresno State returns only four athletes this season: Troy Jenkins, Makhan Diouf, Zaon Collins and David "DJ" Douglas, Jr.
- Of the four, Collins is the Bulldogs' only returning starter and letterwinner.
- DJ Douglas, a transfer from Green Bay, played in six games for the Bulldogs in 2024-25 before his season was cut short due to injury.

LAST TIME ON THE FLOOR
- Despite a 23-point effort from DeShawn Gory and a halftime lead, Fresno State fell to Colorado State, 74-70, on Tuesday night at Moby Arena.
- The Bulldogs (12-16, 6-11 Mountain West) led by as many as 13 in the first half and carried a seven-point advantage into the break, but the Rams used a 42-point second half to rally for the conference victory.
- Gory paced Fresno State with 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting while adding seven rebounds and four assists. Jake Heidbreder contributed 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals, and Wilson Jacques added eight boards with seven points. Zaon Collins chipped in six points and a team-high four assists.
- Colorado State (18-10, 9-8 Mountain West) was led by Brandon Rechsteiner's 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Jevin Muniz added 12 points and six assists, while Carey Booth and Kyle Jorgensen each finished with 11.
- Fresno State shot 46.6 percent (27-of-58) from the field and 8-of-21 from 3-point range.
- The Bulldogs scored 30 points in the paint and forced 11 turnovers.
- Colorado State held a 35-31 rebounding advantage and shot 13-of-17 from the free-throw line.
