FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis team is bringing Mountain West play home. Bulldogs conference home opener will host New Mexico on Friday afternoon and Air Force on Sunday morning. Admission to all home matches is free.Â

Freshman Louna Cormier has been playing consistently at the bottom of the singles lineup this season. The Cannes, France native holds a 6-5 record with her wins split evenly at the No. 5 & No. 6 slots. Cormier had not only won the last three completed matches but earned the 'Dogs lone point against ranked Grand Canyon.Â

Grand Canyon took an early 1-0 lead after claiming wins on courts one and two in doubles. In singles play, Grand Canyon extended its lead with wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4, while Louna Cormier got Fresno State on the board at No. 6 with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over GCU's Duckett. Two other singles matches went unfinished, including  Pizzoni's three-set battle on court one and Andjela Lopicic's match up on court three.Â
