FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Softball team will close out March at home to host the UNLV Lady Rebels in a three-game series.Â

With Fresno State needing a win to salvage their series with Boise State on Sunday, Lauryn Carranco delivered again in the circle for the Bulldogs as she helped Fresno State earn a 7-1 win over the Broncos

Carranco threw her 11th complete game of the season, allowing one run on two hits while striking out nine Broncos in the process

After two weeks of conference play in the books, the senior leads the MW in innings pitched (25.0), strikeouts (21), and is tied for first in wins (2).

Since the start of the season, Jamie Hicks has provided a spark offensively for the Bulldogs. The senior collected her team-leading fourth home run of the season against in Fresno State's series against Boise State

 Hicks leads the Bulldogs in multiple offensive categories including batting average (.368), hits (28), rbi's (18), home runs (4), total bases (44), and is tied for first in slugging percentage (.579)
