Against Stanford, Emma Martinez went 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored from the lead off spot. Defensively, she was steady at second base with one putout, two assists and no errors. On her first at bat of the day, the senior hit a double to get things moving for the 'Dogs.Â
Martinez has had 11 games with at least two hits and is currently on a five game hit streak with her longest of the season being 12. The second baseman has been the 'Dogs leadoff hitter for 31 games this season.Â
