FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State softball is set to host San Diego State for the final time at Margie Wright Diamond with a three-game series beginning on Thursday, Apr. 30 through Saturday, May 2.Â

The Senior ClassÂ
Fresno State will honor seven in its senior class with five of the seven being four year Bulldogs.
Emma Martinez is a four year Bulldog that hails from Yucaipa, Calif.. In her four years as a Bulldog, Martinez has totaled 187 starts in 188 games played with 99 runs and 160 hits. The second baseman is a two-time Academic All-MW and was tabbed MW Freshman of the Week in 2023.
This season, Martinez has started all 45 games thus far this season. Martinez has matched her career high 47 runs from her freshman season and is one run away from matching in runs at 30. With one more run this season, Martinez will have totaled 100 career runs. In conference play Martinez takes second in doubles (8), sixth in hits (27) and eighth in runs scored (18). Â
Lauryn Carranco, a hometown kid, has chosen to return to Fresno to play out her final year. Carranco spent her previous three seasons at CSUN with Charlotte Morgan. In her collegiate career with 93 starts, 592.2 innings pitched, 397 strikeouts, 2, 601 batters faced and a 51-43 record with three saves.
This season, Carranco has already placed herself in the record book as the 79th Fresno State pitcher to record a no-hitter. It doesn't stop there for Carracno as she takes 10th in the nation in complete games with 18 (No. 1 in MW), 34th in shutouts with four (No. 1 in MW) and 36th in innings pitched with 150.0 (No. 1 in MW). Carracno tallies 14 wins with seven in MW play this season.
Alyssa Rebolledo is another senior that has spent all four years in a Bulldog uniform. The outfielder is a three-time MW Scholar Athlete & Academic All-MW. In her time at Fresno State Rebolledo saw 109 starts in 170 games with 48 runs, 58 hits, 30 RBIs and 192 putouts.
This season the senior hit her first home run of her career at San Jose State. Rebolledo sits 32nd in the nation for sacrifice bunts per game (0.21) which places her second in the Mountain West.
Alyssa Ramirez has spent the past four seasons at Fresno State and originally came to Fresno recruited as a pitcher. This season Ramirez found herself back on the mound with her first career start against Colorado State and two complete games on a 2.78 ERA.
In her four years, Ramirez totals 93 starts with 119 appearances and 22 runs, 87 hits, six home runs, 58 RBIs and 87 hits. Ramirez is also a 2025 Academic All-MW recipient.
Natalie Elias is a three-year Bulldog and cae to Fresno after a freshman stint at Cal Baptist. Elias has stacked her achievements since becoming a Bulldog as All-MW Second Team (2025), MW Scholar-Athlete & Academic All-MW (2024). With 120 starts in 135 games in her time at Fresno, Elias has marked 81 runs, 136 hits, two home runs and 160 putouts.
Jamie Hicks has spent the last four seasons donning a Bulldog uniform. TIn her career at Fresno, Hicks has started in 92 games with 114 games played, with 20 runs, 87 hits, six home runs and 300 putouts. In the nation Hicks is ranked No. 13 in toughest to strikeout (34.0) and in conference play she takes third in at bats (75).
Ava Tingey has represented the Bulldogs for the last four seasons. Tingey excels greatly in the classroom as three-time MW Scholar Athlete & Academic All-MW. As the 'Dogs primary pinch runner, she's collected 52 runs, with a career high 17 runs this season, and has recorded 14 stolen bases.Â
