Athlon Sports recognizes Bulldogs with Preseason All-Pac-12 honors

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Football team had 15 players named to a preseason All-Pac-12 team in 16 spots by Athlon Sports as preseason honors ramp up ahead of the 2026 season.

Three Bulldogs were selected to the first team in offensive lineman Brayden Walton, defensive lineman Deijon Laffitte and defensive back Simeon Harris. The Bulldogs saw the bulk of their selections on the second team. Offensively, Rayshon Luke (RB), Josiah Freeman (WR), Rolan Fullwood (OL) and Edward Fonua (OL) were the Bulldogs' picks. Jahzon Jacks (DL) and K'vion Thunderbird (LB) were the defensive selections to the second team. Punter Nick Verdugo and kick returner Rayshon Luke were the specialists.

Running back Bryson Donelson and linebacker Tytus Khajavi were named to the third team. Rounding out the selections on the fourth team were Martin Owusu (DL), Manaki Watanabe (K) and Jordan Malau'ulu (PR).

Fresno State's roster is loaded with returning talent and veteran players. In year two under head coach Matt Entz, the Bulldogs return 14 starters and all but one full-time coach from last season. The Bulldogs had 28 players join the team ahead of spring ball, including 18 transfers and 10 freshmen.
