Freeman earns spot on Senior Bowl Top 300 List

MOBILE, Ala. - Fresno State senior wide receiver Josiah Freeman has been named to the 2027 Senior Bowl Top 300 List, announced by the organization on Thursday. The list represents the Top 300 draft-eligible athletes from around the country.

Freeman is one of eight athletes selected from a "Group of 6" program, recognized as top talent by the Senior Bowl scouting department.

The Senior Bowl Top 300 represents more than just a preseason watch list, it reflects the highest standards in college football. Being named to the Top 300 is a significant honor and signals that a player is viewed among the nation's premier NFL Draft prospects.

The Top 300 has consistently mirrored NFL Draft trends, with the strongest representation coming from the conferences that produce the highest number of draft picks each year.

Freeman, who was granted an extension of eligibility to return for the Bulldogs this season, is primed for a premier year. He was an honorable mention all-conference selection last year, starting all 12 games he was available for. He had the best season of his career, finishing the year with 52 catches for 642 yards and six touchdowns.

The 2025 season ended on a high-note for Freeman. He had a career-high seven catches for another career-high 143 yards. He also had a 51-yard reception, another career-best. That highlight performance came just days after Freeman found out that he was granted the extension of eligibility by the NCAA.
