SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Fresno State women's soccer team dropped their match against UC Santa Barbara by a final score of 4-0 at Harder Stadium on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED

UC Santa Barbara started the scoring in the 6th minute with a shot that found the back of the net to give them a 1-0 lead. The Gauchos doubled their lead five minutes later with a shot that snuck through the legs of the Fresno State goaltender, giving them the 2-0 advantage.
In the 14th minute, UC Santa Barbara built a 3-0 lead over Fresno State with a high arching shot into the top of the net, before making it 4-0 in the 17th minute off a free kick from the top of the 18-yard box.
Jinan Said looked to get Fresno State on the scoreboard, but her shot towards the bottom of the net was saved by the Gaucho goalkeeper, as UC Santa Barbara held their 4-0 lead heading into halftime.
Despite UC Santa Barbara tallying 11 shots in the second half, the Bulldogs settled in defensively to keep the Gauchos off the scoreboard, with Jewelisa Gomez adding a pair of saves.
