| Senior Kara June is the gobulldogs.com athlete of the week for the second time in recognition of her fabulous performance at the WAC Championships on Nov. 1. June was named first-team all-WAC after placing sixth with a time of 17:43 at the meet in Belmont, Calif. June?s time on the 5K Crystal Springs Course was 35 seconds faster than her previous time recorded just over two months ago on the same course. She is the first Bulldog to be named first-team all-WAC since 1997 when Nicole Kulikov took fifth in the WAC Championships. June ranks 11th on Fresno State?s list of fastest 5K times with her time of 17:42 at the Cal Poly Invitational this season. Next up for June and the Bulldog squad is the NCAA District 9 Regional in Portland, Ore., on Nov. 15. | ||
