2013 (JUNIOR): Named first-team All-MW and was a first-team all-conference player for the third straight season ... started in all 56 games ... had team-highs in home runs (12), doubles (15) and RBIs (36) ... finished the year with 76 hits, 35 walks and 2 HBP good for a .461 on base percentage... also scored 45 runs ... went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBIs and two home runs in a 10-4 win over Nevada on May 17... drafted in the first round with the No. 32 pick by the New York Yankees.
2012 (TD AMERITRADE COLLEGE BASEBALL HOME RUN DERBY): Won the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby in July 2012 ... defeated LSU[apos]s Mason Katz and Virginia Tech[apos]s Tyler Horan in the championship round ... launched 16 home runs in three rounds, including four straight and the bonus ball when down to his final out for a total of eight home runs in the deciding round ... qualified for the finals with a total of eight home runs through the first two sessions ... one of eight individuals from across the nation selected to compete at the event ... only student-athlete from the West picked to participate, as he joined players from the ACC (3), SEC (2), Southern (1) and Ohio Valley (1) ... derby aired on CBS.
2012 (SOPHOMORE): Helped power Fresno State to Western Athletic Conference tournament championship and NCAA Regional ... named first-team All-WAC for second straight year ... played and started in 58 of 59 games ... launched four home runs, including two off Stanford ace pitcher and the Pittsburgh Pirates[apos] top draft pick (No. 8 overall) Mark Appel ... also posted 27 RBI, went 13-for-15 in stolen base attempts (T-2 in WAC), scored 47 runs (fifth in WAC), tallied 62 hits and had 14 doubles with a season batting average of .332 ... recorded a team-best streak of reaching base safely in 20 consecutive games ... led the Bulldogs for the highest reached bases streak with 20 ... played summer ball for the Brewster Whitecaps in the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he hit five home runs and earned the team[apos]s Citizenship award for being a positive team member.
2011 (FRESHMAN): Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American ... named Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year ... first-team All-WAC ... played in 55 games, earning 49 starts in center field ... finished with a .358 batting average after 187 at-bats ... scored 38 runs off 67 hits including 12 doubles, one triple and two home runs ... knocked in 30 RBI, went 11-for-12 in stolen bases and was walked 25 times ... recorded four hits in two games: vs. Nevada (Apr. 15) and at Hawai[apos]i (May 27) ... scored two runs and picked up two RBI in his collegiate debut against Gonzaga (Feb. 19) ... had a career-high three RBI against New Mexico State (May 14).
