TIm Borst is in his first season as director of baseball operations at Fresno State.

A native of Moreno Valley, Calif., Borst is responsible for coordinating team travel, budget planning, on-campus recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the baseball program.
In addition, Borst serves as the liaison between the baseball staff and academic services, media relations, marketing, fundraising, ticketing and the training room staff.
Borst finished up his four-year Bulldog career in 2016 by earning Second-Team All-Mountain West honors as a relief pitcher as he helped the 'Dogs capture their first Mountain West championship.
Borst went 3-3 with a 1.72 ERA in his final campaign as a Bulldog appearing in a MW-leading 28 games and tied for second in the conference with eight saves. He tossed 59 strikeouts in 52.1 innings allowing only 10 earned runs and held batters to a .227 average.
In his four-year career, Borst went 14-14 with a 3.35 ERA in 90 appearances (30 starts) on the mound. He tossed 258.1 innings, struck out 195 and converted 13 saves. He is tied for fourth in program history in career saves and his eight saves in 2016 are tied for seventh-best in a single season.
