High School: Luna prepped at Vista High School in Vista, Calif.... was a four-year letter winner who hit .364 in his career... was a three-time Avocado East conference selection with a pair of second-team honors in 2015 and 2017 and first-team in 2016 when he was also named second-team All-CIF... collected 129 hits, 76 runs, 56 RBIs to go along with 26 doubles, six triples and two home runs in his prep career... also pitched in his final three season compiling a record of 16-7 with a 2.28 ERA appearing in 27 games with 24 starts striking out 83 while throwing 144.0 innings.
