Braelon Roberts joins the Fresno State coaching staff for his first season as an offensive graduate assistant. He will work with the Bulldog wide receivers.
Roberts comes to Fresno State after spending the 2021 season at Central Washington, where he served in the same graduate assistant position with the wide receivers. Roberts coached up freshman Darius Morrison to a 2021 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honor as he finished with a team-leading 609 yards receiving and eight touchdowns.
Prior to his time at Central Washington, he spent two seasons in a similar role at Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D. Roberts helped develop inside and outside receivers. He was responsible for film breakdown, recruiting, assisting with practice drills, and coordinating defensive scout teams.
As a student-athlete at Utah State, Roberts was a four-year letter winner and team captain for the FBS Aggies. He was a 3-year starter and appeared in 42 games. He graduated in December of 2017 with a degree in Sociology. In May of 2018, Roberts signed as a rookie free agent with the Oakland Raiders.
