Jordan Iosefa joined the Fresno State coaching staff as a defensive graduate assistant in February 2023. In his one season with the Bulldogs, Iosefa worked alongside Jethro Franklin and the defensive line.

Iosefa got his coaching career started at Pacific University (Oregon) as the tight ends coach in 2022. He played collegiate football as a linebacker at USC from 2016-20. He medically retired ahead of the 2021 season after battling knee injuries, and stayed around the USC program as an offensive student assistant working with the offensive line and the tight ends.

As a student-athlete at USC, Iosefa totaled 78 tackles, including 7 for losses (with 3 sacks), 6 deflections, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble in his career. He appeared in 36 games, with 16 starts.

He was a starter in 2018 and a team captain in 2019.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in non-governmental organizations and social change at USC in the spring of 2021 and is now working on a master’s in sociology.Â

Iosefa is a native of Waipahu, Hawai’i and attended St. Louis HS in Honolulu, Hawai’i. His real first name is Loveni.
