Arev Hagopian, MS, RDN, was hired as Fresno State's Director of Sports Nutrition in April of 2026.
Hagopian has worked with elite athletic organizations including the Los Angeles Galaxy (MLS) and Los Angeles Chargers (NFL), where she managed athlete fueling operations, hydration and body composition assessments, supplement logistics, and individualized nutrition support. Her experience includes developing recovery protocols, creating performance-focused educational materials, and collaborating closely with coaches, athletic trainers, and performance staff to optimize athlete health and performance.
In addition to her work in sports nutrition, she contributes to nutrition content development and research, translating complex scientific findings into practical strategies that support performance, recovery, and long-term wellness. She is passionate about making nutrition accessible and impactful through team presentations, workshops, and wellness initiatives that empower individuals to make informed nutrition decisions.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Hagopian is committed to helping athletes and active individuals achieve their goals through personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance. Her expertise includes sports nutrition, body composition assessment, performance fueling, nutrition education, and healthy aging.
Hagopian is a sports dietitian and nutrition professional with extensive experience supporting collegiate and professional athletes through evidence-based performance nutrition, recovery strategies, and nutrition education. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Psychology with a minor in Food Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
