Mason Behiel, who spent the 2023 season as the Bulldogs’ Director of Player Personnel was named Assistant Athletics Director for Football in February 2024. Behiel was first hired by Tedford in March of 2023 and oversaw all aspects of player personnel and recruiting as the Director of Player Personnel.
Behiel joined the Bulldogs’ staff from Columbia, where he served the same role since June 2022.
Prior to his role at Columbia, Behiel served as a player personnel/recruiting assistant at Ole Miss from 2020-22. While there, he managed offensive personnel operations within the recruiting department. He also served as a student player personnel/recruiting intern in 2020.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada in 2020.
