Alyssa Razo completed her second year with the Fresno State Softball program as a Graduate Student Manager for the 2018 season. Razo helped coordinate the team's social media, assisted with video and graphic design, and served as Diamond Club liaison while assisting with day-to-day operations.Â

The Salinas, Calif., native came to the Bulldogs following a season as the 2015-16 varsity assistant coach/pitching coach at Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, Calif., under head coach Danielle Kinley.

Razo was a part of Fresno State head coach Linda Garza’s first recruiting class at UC Riverside, playing for the Highlanders from 2013-15 as a pitcher. She accumulated a 22-33 record in 81 appearances, with 188 strikeouts in 335 innings pitched and owned a 3.89 ERA.

Prior to UCR, Razo played at Monterey Peninsula Junior College, where she helped the Lobos to the postseason. She was named to the all-state team and was a first-team all-league selection, while also earning team MVP honors.

While playing for Salinas High School under head coach Elyssa Sigala, Razo lettered three years in softball, was named second-team all-league in 2011 as a team captain and lettered one year in basketball.

Razo earned her bachelor’s degree in media and cultural studies in 2015 from UC Riverside and received her master’s degree in studio art with an emphasis in photography at Fresno State in 2018.
