PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: Ranked in the top 15 in Italy for juniors with a national rating of 2.4 in 2021 ... earned her first international point in the W15K in Cairo in April 2021Â and has won several national opens in Italy.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Daniele Magrini and Marina Pagnini. Younger sister to brother Matteo. Outside of the tennis court Magrini enjoys watching basketball and playing other sports. Matilde admires her parents for their attitude they have about life.

- Started the year ranked No. 23 in doubles with Jittakoat, the highest ranking in program history for a doubles pairÂ
- Competed in the ITA All-American Main Draw doubles with Jittakoat qualifying to the Round of 32, fell to Auburn (4-6, 3-6)
- Doubles finalist at the Jack Kramer Invitational with partner Kobayashi
- Qualified to the singles round of 32 at ITA NW Regionals and doubles round of 16 with Jittakoat as the No. 2 seed
- Saw a Round of 32 singles appearance at the Jack Kramer InvitationalÂ
- Held a 4-10, 2-1 MW singles and 4-9, 1-4 MW doubles recordÂ
- Earned conference wins against Wyoming (7-5, 77-65) and San Jose State (66-78, 6-2, 6-4)
- Longest win streak of the season was three doubles wins with Kobayashi at No. 1Â
Fall 2022:
- Magrini started her 2022 fall season off with a doubles win with partner Pang Jittakoat at the Battle in the Bay Classic in San Francisco.
- Magrini and Jittakoat knock out the No. 1-seeded doubles team from Oklahoma in the opening round of the ITA All-American Championships in a thrilling 3 set match.
- Made it to the round of 32 in doubles as the #3 seed at the ITA Northwest Regionals in Stanford, CA.
- Captured a singles win in the Bulldog’s final fall tournament of the season at the Jack Kramer Invitational.Â
- Helped the Bulldogs win the doubles point against #47 Arizona by securing a 6-0 set at line 1 with partner Jittakoat.
- Magrini and Jittakoat clinch the doubles point with a 7-6 (8) victory over #69 Washington State.
- Magrini and Jittakoat earned a doubles victory at line one helping the Bulldogs upset #38 ranked team Oregon.
- Picked up a singles win in a three-set match at line 2 against #54 Brigham Young University.
- Punched a ticket to the 2023 NCAA doubles tournament with Jittakoat.
- Finished the season ranked #45 in doubles with partner Jittakoat.
2022 (FRESHMAN)
- Fresno State freshman Matilde Magrini earned All-Mountain West honors in single and doubles (April 26, 2022).
- In singles, Magrini went 10-10 overall with all two victories at the No. 2 singles position (10-9 at No. 2 singles).
- In doubles, Magrini went 15-6 overall (7-3 in MW play), including a 11-3 record at No. 1 doubles with teammate Pang Jittakoat.
- Named the MW Freshman of the Week a league-best five times (Feb. 2, Feb. 16, April 13, April 20 and April 25).
- Honored as a ITA Scholar Athlete, MW Scholar Athlete and Academic All-MW
- Finished the season ranked No. 9 with teammate Pang Jittakoat in the ITA Northwest region doubles rankings (June 9, 2022).
