2021 (SOPHOMORE): All-MPSF midfield selection … started all 14 games for the Bulldogs … scored 29 goals, added four assists, totaled 33 points … took 76 shots with 61 shots on goal this season … also had 28 ground balls, 20 draw controls, and 17 caused turnovers … was No. 2 in the MPSF in caused turnovers and caused turnovers per game ... also broke the top 10 in the MPSF in points, goals, ground balls, draw controls, and shots ... tied for second on the team in goals, was fourth in points … led the team in turnovers caused and was third in ground balls … scored at least one goal in all but two games this season … recorded six hat tricks on the year for the third-most by any player in a season in program history … scored a hat trick in four of the last six games of the season … had a career-high four goals at Kent State (Feb. 19) … fired a career-high 11 shots in the MPSF championship game versus UC Davis (May 1), the second-most in a game in program history … had six ground balls in the season opener at UC Davis (Feb. 14), ties for the third-most in a game in program history … her 28 ground balls on the season ties for the sixth-most in a season in program history ... had a career-high three caused turnovers at Kent State … recorded six games with multiple caused turnovers, leading to her most in a season as a Bulldog … was 6-of-11 in her free-position attempts on the year … All-MPSF Tournament Team selection.
2020 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in all eight games, and started one as a true freshman … earned her first collegiate start against Yale (Mar. 12) … scored four goals and added one assist on the year… was dominant in the midfield with 21 ground balls, 13 draw controls and eight caused turnovers in 2020 … finished second on the team in ground balls and caused turnovers … scored her first goal in her collegiate debut at Furman (Feb. 15) … chalked a hat trick versus Marquette (Feb. 29) … had a season-high four ground balls in three games on the year - at Winthrop (Feb. 17), vs. Marquette (Feb. 29) and at Oregon (Mar. 8) … was the MPSF’s leading field player in ground balls, behind a pair of goalkeepers in teammate Laurel Maunder and San Diego State’s Katy Sharretts … added four caused turnovers against Marquette … was third in the MPSF in caused turnovers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a 4-year varsity lacrosse team member at Trabuco Hills High School ... in her career, she accumulated 401 goals, 52 assists and 453 points, while averaging five goals per game over the four year span ... as a senior midfielder and team captain, Evans fired 116 goals and added 15 assists ... was also a member of the cross country and track teams where she was a three mile runner in cross country and a part of the relay team for track.
