2021 (SENIOR): Starting attack in all 14 games this season … finished the year with 29 goals, six assists, 35 points, 71 shots, 12 ground balls, six draw controls, and four caused turnovers … ranked No. 8 in the MPSF in points, No. 6 in goals, and No. 5 in shots ... set single-season personal bests in all stats categories … scored five hat tricks on the year … recorded goals in all but one game on the year … had a season-high six points from four goals and two assists at Kent State (Feb. 19) … was 5-of-9 in her free-position attempts … had a season-high four ground balls at Robert Morris (Feb. 23) … recorded a season-best three draw controls against UC Davis in the MPSF Championship Game (May 1) … was named the MPSF Offensive Player of the Week after earning five points from three goals and two assists at Cal (Mar. 28).
2020 (JUNIOR): Started all eight games … third on the team with 12 goals … added three assists, five ground balls, one draw control and two caused turnovers … scored a career-best four goals at Winthrop (Feb. 17) … also had a season-best three ground balls at Winthrop … scored at least one goal in 6-of-8 games on the year … was seventh in the MPSF in goals.
2019 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 10 games as a sophomore … scored her only goal of the season against UC Davis (April 6) … finished the season with one goal, one assist and one ground ball … MPSF All-Academic selection.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Played in 17 games during her first season with the Bulldogs … finished the season with 15 goals, two assists, 17 shots, 21 shots and eight ground balls … scored her first collegiate goal in the 15-11 win over Mercer (Feb. 16) … scored in seven games for Fresno State, including four multi-goal games … had a career-high five points, four goals and two ground balls in Fresno State’s 23-3 win over Wofford (March 24) … named MPSF Rookie of the Week on March 26.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity midfielder from Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, Calif. Walaitis finished her senior season as the all-time leader in points at Christian Brothers High School … was a two-time Nor Cal National Tournament Team member … was the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Christian Brothers HS lacrosse MVP … was named a member of the 2016 and 2017 All-Conference Team.
PERSONAL: From Carmichael, Calif. … parents are Karen and Greg Walaitis … has a younger brother Derek … hobbies other than lacrosse include photography, videography, crocheting and hiking … favorite athlete is Derek Carr … most admires her parents for their love, support and guidance … biggest athletic thrill was scoring the tying goal and winning goal against rival high school as a freshman … chose Fresno State because of the approachable coaching staff and welcoming players, along with hard work and family atmosphere surrounding the team ... is a speech pathology major.
