2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Swam in seven different events ... recorded personal-best times in the 50 Freestyle (25.16) and 100 Freestyle (54.74) at the MW Championship ... had three career-best in the UNLV Invitational in the 100 Backstroke (59.74), 100 Butterfly (59.05), and 100 IM (1:05.88) ... had top times in the 200 Free (1:59.16) in the Chick-Fil-A Invitational, 200 Back (2:15.16) vs. Nevada, and 200 IM (2:21.71) vs. San Diego ... posted the sixth fastest times on the team all season in the 100 Back, 200 Back, and 100 Fly
HIGH SCHOOL: Swam four years for coach Eli Hamm at Bakersfield HS ... won the South West Yosemite League championship in the 100 Back in 2018 ... was a Div. II Valley champion in both the 100 Back and 100 Fly as a senior ... named team MVP twice ... broke school records in the 100 Back (59.01) and 100 Fly (58.23) ... had a 4.0 high school GPA
PERSONAL: Parents are Shelly and Paul Golla ... Paul is the head football coach at Bakersfield HS ... has a younger brother, Gunter ... hobbies include calligraphy and watching documentaries ... chose Fresno State because it is very beautiful and felt like home. The swim team and staff doesn't just feel like family, it is family. All the girls are her sisters, she says, and the coaches are like crazy aunts and uncles that always push them to be their best ... majoring in criminology-forensic behavioral science
