Reilly Gallagher joined the Fresno State water polo coaching staff in October 2024. Gallagher enters her third season working with the goalkeepers in 2027.Â
In 2026, her second season the the Bulldogs, Gallagher coached true freshman Katelyn Mobley to rise as one of the top goalkeepers in the nation. Mobley finished the season with 209 saves, the second-most in a season in program history. Mobley became a first team All-Golden Coast Conference selection and was named to the GCC All-Freshman Team. She also earned GCC All-Tournament honors for her efforts in the championship event.Â
A native of Placer County in California, Gallagher brings more than ten years of experience coaching and refereeing various levels of play. Her coaching resume includes mentoring goalies for the Olympic Development program, recently traveling to Greece with the Youth and Cadet Girls teams. She also has stops at Miramar Junior College, San Diego Shores, and more.Â
After competing for Del Oro High School, Gallagher attended University of California, San Diego where she studied Communication and Business, was involved in the A Cappella community, and competed with the UC San Diego Water Polo team for all four years.
As an athlete, she earned multiple ACWPC All-American athletic and academic honors and her 530 saves in the net rank ninth all-time in program history. Gallagher also served as a captain and representative on the Triton Athletic Council.
She continued her water polo career and further pursued her education earning distinction with a Masters Degree in Marketing in Durham, England.
