Savannah Stoeckle serves as the Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Communications at Fresno State, where she oversees strategic communications initiatives, media relations, digital content, and storytelling efforts for one of the premier athletic departments in the Mountain West. Since joining the Fresno State Athletics communications staff in 2014, she has progressed from student assistant to a senior leadership role, helping elevate the national visibility and brand presence of Bulldog Athletics.
As the primary communications contact for Fresno State Football, along with additional responsibilities for nationally competitive programs such as equestrian and women’s water polo, Savannah manages media relations, press conferences, credentialing, publications, and digital content strategy. She has played a key role in amplifying the stories and achievements of Fresno State student-athletes through traditional media, social media, and GoBulldogs.com, while helping grow the football program’s digital presence to become the first Fresno State social account to surpass 100,000 followers on X.
In her leadership role, Savannah oversees the strategic communications staff and student intern program, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all 19 varsity sports. Her career has included involvement in numerous milestone moments for Fresno State Athletics, including the university’s announcement of joining the Pac-12 Conference, the first-ever concert at Valley Children’s Stadium, multiple head coach and athletics director introductions, and innovative initiatives such as the first exclusively Spanish-language television broadcast in FBS football history.
A Fresno State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Marketing, Savannah was recognized nationally as a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 30 Under 30 Class of 2023. Her expertise includes media relations, strategic communications, social media strategy, digital content creation, website management, statistical reporting, and brand storytelling.
