2025 (JUNIOR): Appeared in all 22 games this season … scored four goals and added nine assists … had nine drawn exclusions, nine steals and six field blocks … had two steals in the conference opener against Concordia (Feb. 22) … had a season-high three drawn exclusions against No. 24 CBU (Mar. 15) … scored a season-high two goals against Cal in the Cal Cup (Jan. 25) … also had a season high three shot attempts against the Bears … GCC All-Academic.
2024 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 25 games this season… single-season career-best of 11 goals and 13 assists… had 10 drawn exclusions, seven steals, and six field blocks… had a season-high of three goals against Whittier (Feb 17) and Santa Clara (April 20)... totaled 10 games with one or more assists.
2023 (FRESHMAN): Played in 23 games this season … scored two goals and added nine goals … had three drawn exclusions, eight steals and two field blocks … scored goals against Hawai’i (Jan. 6) and Santa Clara (April 22) … tallied a season-high two assists twice – vs. Stanford (Jan. 28) and Biola (Feb. 18) ... GCC All-Academic selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2022 graduate of College & Career High School in Albuquerque ... earned a pair of first team all-state selections and was a two-time MVP in 2019 & 2022 ... tabbed the top scorer and First Team All State ... also qualified for the swimming state championships in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.
PERSONAL: Parents are Martenna & Mario Martinez ... cognitive science major ... enjoys rock climbing, coaching and yoga ... speaker at high school graduation ... favorite athletes are Serena Williams and Simone Biles as they both dominate their sports and are so underrated ... biggest athletic thrill is playing in close games as anytime there is a high stakes environment, there is nothing better than playing in those edge of the seat, down to the last second games ... chose Fresno State for the comradery between teammates and loved the environment and how every time I talked to the coaches they were genuinely interested in what I was saying, the energy was positive and everyone was super friendly and helpful ... student speaker at graduation ... also coached splash ball and age group level water polo.
