Randy Flores was hired as an Associate Strength and Conditioning Coach at Fresno State in November 2019.  He is responsible for the design and implementation of sports performance programs for Men’s Basketball and Women's Basketball.

Before arriving at Fresno State, Coach Flores spent three years at the University of Memphis where he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Men’s Basketball and Men’s Golf.  Under Coaches Tubby Smith and Penny Hardaway, Flores was responsible for all facets of sports performance and nutrition for his respective programs, in addition to the design and development of the weight room in the Laurie-Walton Family Basketball Center.

Prior to the University of Memphis, Coach Flores was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Texas Tech University from 2012-2016.  While at Texas Tech, Flores was responsible for the design and implementation of sports performance programs for Men’s Basketball, Baseball and Men’s/Women’s Golf.  As an undergraduate at Texas Tech, Coach Flores also assisted with other sports including Football, Track and Field, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Tennis, and Volleyball before assuming a full-time role.

Flores received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech University in 2012 and is certified through the CSCCa (SCCC), American Red Cross (First Aid, CPR, AED), USA-Weightlifting (Level 1), RPR Level 1 and is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms).

Flores grew up in Austin, TX and currently resides in Fresno, California.
