Bego Faz Davalos, a junior business administration - marketing major, averaged 13.5 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and 3.5 assists per game game in two contests last week. She played a key role in Fresno State's 61-48 victory of San Francisco, scoring 12 of her 16 points in the second half.
The 6-foot-3 center also blocked seven shots, with five coming in the second 20 minutes. It was her third game this season with at least seven blocks as she remains the nation's leader in blocked shots per game (4.71).
At No. 13 Washington, Faz Davalos recorded her second double-double of the week with 11 points and 13 rebounds. It was her fifth double-double of the season which ranks fifth in the NCAA. It was also the 21st of her career which moved her into sole possession of fourth place in program history.
