Fresno State's Peter Luczak advanced to the second round and Olivier Le Jeune fell to the consolation bracket at the ITA All-American in Austin, Texas. Luczak, the No. 9 seeded player in the collegiate grand slam tournament, defeated Andres Pedroso of Duke 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4). "Peter was raring to go before the match and right now he is in the best playing shape of the young season," Fresno State's Men's Tennis coach Michael Hegarty said. Le Jeune lost in straight sets to Tennessee's Adam Carey 6-2, 6-3. "Today's play by both players was like kissing your sister, you come out one win and one loss that is such an in-between feeling," Hegarty said. Luczak and Le Jeune will open up play tomorrow from different brackets. Luczak will match-up against Alex Kim of Stanford in the second round of the main draw and Le Jeune will face Mississippi's Martin Selin in the first round of consolation play.
