Honolulu, Hawai'i - Fresno State got two runs in the third inning against Nittaidai and it would be all the runs freshman Zach Minor would need as he pitched a complete-game three hitter as the Bulldogs cruised to a 7-0 victory.
The victory over the Eagles is considered an exhibition game and does not count on the Bulldogs' record, though does count in the Rainbow Easter Tournament standings. With the victory Fresno State moves onto championship game. It will play the winner of the Hawai'i vs. Hawai'i-Pacific game.
If Hawai'i wins the Bulldogs will play at 3 p.m. Hawai'i time. A win by Hawai'i-Pacific pits the Bulldogs versus the Sea Warriors at 12 p.m.
During the first meeting with the Eagles, Fresno State went without a hit for the first four and a third innings, but in Saturday's game, the Bulldogs picked up in the second inning and scored two runs in the third inning.
