Fresno State Baseball Coach Bennett Offered Contract Extension

Fresno, Calif. - Fresno State baseball coach Bob Bennett has been offered an extension on his annual contract. The 31-year veteran coach of the Bulldog program has an overall record of 1190-685-2.

"We are eager to bring our baseball program back to the national prominence it enjoyed in the late 80s and early 90s," said Athletics Director Al Bohl. "Coach Bennett and I know the community has helped build this baseball program and continues to strongly support our Bulldogs. We have high expectations for our baseball team and want to secure its future."
