Men's Tennis Wins Seventh Consecutive Match

Las Vegas, Nev. - The 33rd-ranked Fresno State men's tennis team won its seventh consecutive match today with a 7-0 win over Arkansas-Little Rock in Las Vegas, Nev. The Bulldogs are now 11-7 overall this season.
The Bulldogs started off strong by sweeping doubles which included a victory by freshman Nick Fustar and junior Olivier Le Jeune, improving their record to 7-0 as a doubles team. Fustar and Le Jeune defeated Zibu Ncube of Arkansas-Little Rock, 8-4, at No. 3.
Fresno State dominated singles, as well, sweeping Arkansas-Little Rock to secure the victory. Le Jeune, playing at No. 1, defeated Arkansas-Little Rocks Felipe McCluskey, 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore Peter Luczak had a straight set victory over Arkansas-Little Rocks Danny Iniesta, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 2 and sophomore David Mullins pushed his win streak to eleven with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, win over Arkansas-Little Rocks Domenico Marra at No. 4.
"Peter, Olivier and Rob almost executed to perfection today," Fresno State head coach Michael Heagarty said. "This was a nice way to prepare for Tuesdays crunch time match at BYU. I feel good heading into the match."
Fresno State will play at BYU on March 30 and Utah on March 31.
