Men's Tennis defeats Boise State in Idaho

Boise, Idaho - The 35th-ranked Fresno State men's tennis team defeated 38th-ranked Boise State, 5-2, today in Boise, Idaho. The Bulldogs improved their record to 15-8 overall and will travel to San Diego for the Western Athletic Conference Championships beginning on Wednesday, April 21.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 1-0 lead by winning No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Sophomores Peter Luczak and David Mullins defeated Cory Dalos and Ryan Thompson of Boise State, 9-7, at No. 2 while sophomore Olivier Le Jeune and freshman Nick Fustar beat Boise State's Ronald Rugimbana and Andrew Roumieh, 8-4, at No. 3.
The Bulldogs went on to win four consecutive singles matches to clinch the match before Boise State captured the final two points of the match.
"This was a total team performance and one of the best matches we've played all season," Fresno State head coach Michael Hegarty said. "We fought like troopers and this is a great springboard leading into the WAC tournament on Wednesday."
