Fresno, Calif. - Host Fresno State and tournament-champion North Carolina each placed four players on the 1999 Pepsi-Johnny Quik All-Tournament team. Righ-handed pitcher Kyle Synder of North Carolina was named tournament MVP. Synder picked up two victories over the week with a 1.19 ERA.
