FRESNO, Calif. - Through the midway point of the 2000 football season, senior outside linebacker Orlando Huff has been considered by many one of the best defensive players in the nation.
The 6-2, 240-pound senior from Upland, Calif., was selected to the Midseason All-America First Team by Pro Football Weekly. He was the only WAC player selected to the squad.
Huff is Fresno State's leading tackler with 51 total tackles. He ranks second in the WAC with seven sacks for 41 yards and has nine tackles for losses for 49 yards, which ranks second in the team and third in the WAC. Huff also has one fumble recovery and two forced fumbles.
