Baseball Series Finale At Santa Clara Rained Out

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Fresno State's series finale against Santa Clara was postponed Sunday afternoon due to rain. The game will be made up on a date to be determined in the future.

Fresno State swept yesterday's doubleheader from Santa Clara by scores of 5-3 and 16-3. The Bulldogs hit .370 (30-for-81) with six doubles and a home run in yesterday's twinbill. The Bulldogs also were solid on the mound, limiting the Bronocs to a .262 (17-for-65) batting average and posting a 3.00 ERA.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will try to extend their five-game winning streak when they host Oregon State (1-2) at Pete Beiden Field on Feb. 18-20. First pitch on Friday, Feb. 18, is scheduled for 7 p.m.
