No. 20 Baseball To Travel To Sacramento State

FRESNO, Calif. - No. 20/23 (USA Today Baseball Weekly/Baseball America) Fresno State makes its third road trip of the season on Tuesday when it travels to Sacramento State to play the Hornets. First pitch at Hornet Field is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Bulldogs (20-7) are coming off of two losses in last weekend's series against WAC rival Hawai'i, its first series loss since Jan. 28-29. Fresno State is 14-4 in non-conference tilts this season.
Ben Fritz (Fr., San Jose, Calif.) is scheduled to make his second start of the season for the Bulldogs. Fritz is 1-0 with a 2.63 ERA in nine appearances this year.
Fresno State holds a commanding 81-20 lead in the all-time series that dates back to the 1960 season. The Bulldogs have won have won 10 consecutive games against Sacramento State and have not lost to the Hornets since the 1996 season.
