Men's Tennis Climbs to No. 14 in Latest Rankings

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State improved to No. 14 in the nation in the latest ITA team rankings, released today. They moved ahead of Virginia Commonwealth, which the Bulldogs upset Saturday in the semifinals of the Blue-Gray Classic 4-1.
The Bulldogs' upcoming schedule has them facing three of the Top 25 teams. Fresno State hosts No. 8 Baylor on April 1 and No. 25 Boise State on April 8 at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. On April 13 the men will travel to No. 4 Pepperdine, which is currently undefeated at 16-0.
Individually, Olivier Le Jeune (Sr., Porspoder, France) is ranked No. 32, Peter Luczak (Jr., Melbourne, Australia) is at No. 49 and Rob Cheyne (Sr., Wellington, New Zealand) is No. 54 in the nation. New individual rankings will be released March 29, along with updated team rankings.
