Men's Tennis Wins Their Fourth Straight Today

FRESNO, Calif. - No. 16 Fresno State defeated Santa Clara this morning at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center 4-3. The Bulldogs improve to 10-3 and will return to action this afternoon where they will face Portland.
The Bulldogs played today without No. 42 Peter Luczak (Jr., Melbourne, Australia) and David Mullins (Jr., Shankill, Ireland) but won the match by clinching the doubles point early on. "Playing without two of our top guns, this was a solid performance from our other guys," Head Coach Michael Hegarty said.
Fresno State won the doubles point by winning on courts No. 1 and No. 2. In singles play the Bulldogs earned three points with wins from No. 25 Olivier Le Jeune (Sr., Porspoder, France), No. 47 Rob Cheyne (Sr., Wellington, New Zealand), and Nick Fustar (So., Cupertino, Calif.).
