Former Bulldogs to Compete at Olymic Trials

FRESNO, Calif. - The 2000-01 academic school year is just around the corner, but some Fresno State Bulldogs have been keeping themselves busy this summer. Starting July 14 in Sacramento, Calif., the U.S. Track and Field Trials will be held during an eight day home stand that ffeatures 39 events at Hornet Stadium. The athletes must finish in the top three if they are to go to Sydney for the 2000 Olympic Summer Games. Beginning with the men's pole vault today, Fresno State will be represented by as many as six former Bulldogs: pole vault-Jim Davis and Melissa Price, javelin-Nicole Carrol and Todd Reich, discus-Lacey Barnes, and 1,500 meter-Jamey Harris.
