Sunny Skies for Bulldogs in Pacific Palisades

FRESNO, Calif. - Chloe Carlotti, Kim Niggemeyer, and Simone Jardim all advance to the second round of the Riviera Women's All-American Championships currently being held in Pacific Palisades.
In women's singles, Niggemeyer quickly defeated Illinois' Jennifer McGaffigan 6-2, 6-1 and is set to play Vladka Uhlivrova of Texas tomorrow. Carlotti beat Lindsay Dawaf of Florida 6-2, 6-1 and will play seventh-seeded Mariel Verban of Georgia in the second-round.
In doubles, first-seeded Jardim/Niggemeyer, currently the No. 1 doubles team in the nation, defeated Susie Abromeit/Amanda Johnson of Duke (LL) 8-3. They will play Stanford's Lauren Barnikov/Erin Burdette in the quarterfinals tomorrow.
