FRESNO, Calif. - The singles and doubles draw for the eighth-annual Wathen/Hancock Bulldog Classic have been released and are available in PDF Format.
Fresno State's Nick Fustar is the tournament's No. 1 seed. The senior went 18-18 (14-12 dual) last year playing at Nos. 2 and 3 singles. He received a first round bye and will play Friday at 10:30 a.m. against the winner of Nevada's Jason Yelley and Fresno State's Hector Almada.
California's Patrick Briaud and Dean Wallace are the second and third seeds, respectively. Seeded fourth is Santa Clara's Francisco Zepponi while the fifth seed is Victor Camargo, also of Santa Clara.
In doubles, Fustar teams with Stephan Suta to comprise the No. 1 seeded team. Wallace and Wayne Wong are the No. 2 seeds.
Singles play begins Friday at 8 a.m. at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. Doubles kicks off at 3:15 p.m. The tournament continues all weekend, with the singles finals taking place at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and the doubles championship following at 2 p.m.
