FRESNO, Calif. - The singles and doubles draw for the eighth-annual Wathen/Hancock Bulldog Classic have been released and are available in PDF Format.
Fresno State's Nick Fustar is the tournament's No. 1 seed. The senior went 18-18 (14-12 dual) last year playing at Nos. 2 and 3 singles. He received a first round bye and will play Friday at 10:30 a.m. against the winner of Nevada's Jason Yelley and Cal Poly's Stacy Meronoff.
Pacific's Dietrich Haug is the second seed in the singles draw, with Santa Clara's Victor Camargo seeded third. Wayne Wong of California is seeded No. 4.
In doubles, Fustar teams with Stephan Suta to comprise the No. 1 seeded team. Haug and Niclas Otte are the No. 2 seeds.
Singles play begins Friday at 8 a.m. at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. Doubles kicks off at 3:15 p.m. The tournament continues all weekend, with the singles finals taking place at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and the doubles championship following at 2 p.m.
