Logan Named WAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresh off leading the Bulldogs to their first ever Fresno State Classic title, Lindsay Logan has been named Western Athletic Conference's women's basketball Player of the Week.
Logan, a junior guard, led the Bulldogs to wins over Cal State Northridge and Southern Utah. Logan averaged 26.5 points on the week as the Bulldogs claimed the Fresno State Classic. For her efforts, Logan was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament for the second consecutive year. Logan also averaged 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in the two wins.
Behind Logan's strong play, Fresno State is off to its best start (3-0) since the 1996-97 season. The Bulldogs are two wins away from tying the best start in school history (1971-72).
Fresno State looks to keep its winning ways going Wednesday at California at 5:30 p.m. FS concludes the week by traveling to Peoria, Ill., to play Bradley on Saturday.
