FRESNO, Calif. - Former Fresno State linebacker Orlando Huff, a standout on the Bulldog defense the past two seasons, was selected in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
Despite playing for Fresno State only two years, Huff wrote his name in Bulldog annals as one of the best and most talented linebackers to wear the red and white. He was named to the All-WAC first team in both 1999 and '00. This past year, he racked up over 100 tackles, had 10 sacks and 17 tackles for loss, numbers which ranked him near the top of the Western Athletic Conference statistical sheet.
Huff will join former Bulldog Reggie Brown on the Seahawks. Brown will be entering his seventh year with Seattle next season.
