Bulldogs season opener at USC scheduled for Friday broadcast on FOX

FRESNO, Calif. - The 2026 Fresno State Football season will kick off a little earlier than planned. Fresno State's Week 1 game at USC has been moved to Friday, September 4 and will be broadcast on FOX. The official kickoff time is set for 6 p.m. PT from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Bulldogs will face USC for the seventh time in program history. Fresno State has just one win in the series, the 24-7 victory in the 1992 Freedom Bowl. Fresno State last played at the Coliseum in 2022, suffering a 45-17 loss.
