- Fresno State will face a familiar face in Washington State head coach Kirby Moore. Moore was on the Fresno State coaching staff from 2017-22. Moore spent the 2017-21 seasons as the wide receivers coach before making the transition to offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2022.
- Along with Moore, WSU Senior Offensive Analyst Matt Wade was on staff at Fresno State in a similar role during Moore's tenure with the Bulldogs.
