Football Kickoff Dinner Set for August 19

FRESNO, Calif. - Bulldog fans will get their first look at the 2001 Fresno State football team at the annual Fresno State Football Kickoff Dinner on Sunday, August 19, at the Convention Center Exhibit Hall in downtown Fresno.
Head coach Pat Hill and the Bulldogs open the season in the Jim Thorpe Association Classic against Colorado a week later, August 26. That game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Hill will introduce the Bulldogs and talk about the Colorado game and the 2001 season. Fresno State opens the home schedule Sept. 2 vs. Oregon State.
The deluxe dinner will be catered by Jim Pardini Catering and will include complimentary dinner wine and a no host bar. The cost of the dinner is $30 per person. The social begins at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m.
Tickets are available through the Bulldog Foundation Office at 1510 E. Shaw #101 or by phone at (559) 248-2340. Tickets must be ordered by August 2.
Table assignments will be made by the date of the paid reservation, so ordering early is recommended to insure better seating. Dinner guests wishing to sit together must have their reservations paid at the same time. Tables may be reserved in parties of 10 or 11.
Fans can also help support this event by purchasing a dinner ticket to sponsor one of the students in attendance. The students will include football players, band members, pep squad members and trainers.
