- The win moves Fresno State's record against Louisiana Tech to 3-0 all-time.
- The crowd of 42,881 is the largest ever at Bulldog Stadium, eclipsing the previous record of 42,410 set Sept. 2, 2001, vs. Oregon State.
- The win is Fresno State's 17th in a row at home and extends the nation's third longest home winning streak.
- Paris Gaines had 203 yards rushing, the most of his career and the most by a Bulldog since Jamie Kimbrough went for 212 against San Jose State in 1998. Gaines' day was the 10th best rushing performance in Fresno State history.
- Gaines' 58-yard touchdown in the third quarter was the longest of his career.
- Fresno State's offensive output of 566 yards marked the second game in a row the Bulldogs have eclipsed the 500-yard barrier in total yards.
- Asen Asparuhov's field goal of 45 yards in the third quarter was a career-long.
- David Carr threw for 319 yards, the second consecutive game he has thrown for over 300 yards. That marks the first time in his career Carr has accomplished that.
- Carr has now thrown for over 300 yards in three of his last four games.
- Kendall Edwards had two interceptions, marking the second game in a row a FS player has had two picks in one game. Bryce McGill had two last week at Tulsa.
- The Bulldogs have scored 32 points or more in six of their last seven games. They are averaging 35.1 points per game during that span.
- Fresno State's touchdown to start the second half was the third game in a row it has opened the second stanza with a touchdown.
