FRESNO, Calif.- After the final round of the Aztec Intercollegiate tournament, Fresno State finished in 12th place with a final score of 873 (286-287-300), 27 strokes above the leader, San Diego State, 846 (276-289-281).
Individually, senior Nick Watney (Dixon, Calif.) tied for ninth with a final score of 212 (69-69-74), junior Chad Spencer (Rocklin, Calif.) tied for 27th with a score of 217 (71-70-76)), sophomore Ryan Carter (Hacienda Heights, Calif.) tied for 39th with a score of 219 (73-73-73), sophomore George McKean (Kingsburg, Calif.) tied for 69th with a score of 225 (73-75-77), freshman Ryan McDonald tied for 74th with a score of 227 (75-75-77), and junior Jeremy Moreno (Visalia, Calif.) tied for 80th with a score of 230 (77-72-81).
The 'Dogs' next action will be Mon.-Tues., Feb. 3-4 at the Ping Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
