FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State junior catcher Raoul Lievanos led off the top of the seventh inning with a homer to left field, sparking a five-run inning, as the Blue team rallied for a 10-8 victory Sunday, at Beiden Field.
After losing the first game of the Red-Blue Fall World Series, the Blue squad bounced back to win the final two games and capture the title, 2-1.
The Red team opened the scoring as senior infielder Scott Beshears stole home on the back end of a double steal. Junior outfielder Cody Smith answered for the Blue squad in the third inning with a three-run blast off Red starter, sophomore left-hander Gil Infante.
